Enjoy a quiet stroll on the highest point of the Jardin, following in the footsteps of Empress Eugénie de Montijo. This one-hectare, picturesque hill provides incredible views of the Great Stables, the Fondation Louis Vuitton, the Neuilly pond and the Eiffel Tower. The mound can be explored by taking a small, paved path which slips between age-old trees and undergrowth with a wonderful smell of hazelnut. Benches are available at regular intervals. Surrounded by mandarin ducks, peafowl and domestic turkeys, the Empress’ Viewpoint is an ode to strolling.
