Welcome to the temple of the birds! An incredible excursion to the heart of 5 themed aviaries, presenting biogeographical zones, awaits you: Oceania-Australia, Southeast Asia, Africa, India and South America. Monumental and finely edged, the Great Aviary has offered visitors its all-metal architecture, since the creation of the Jardin in 1860. You will be enchanted to be totally immersed with the more than 40 species that populate the huge pavilions.

Be they exotic or more accustomed to our farmyards, 150 birds parade before your eyes without any coaxing.

Come and meet our lorikeets

Lorikeets are small parrots with multicoloured plumage that are native to Australia or Indonesia. At the Jardin d’Acclimatation, there are 43 of them and it is possible to get up close to them in the Great Aviary.
