“Guignol! Guignol!” the children chant in unison, impatient to see their idol. The wooden-souled hero from Lyon and his friends are always ready to bring the house down during live shows full of mischief and inspired by well-known stories and tales. It is an opportunity for young audiences to be amazed by the adventures of the most famous puppet in France and for parents to take an enjoyable trip down memory lane to their childhoods. The puppet has been in the Jardin d’Acclimatation of Paris since 1953 and his home is the capital’s most beautiful puppet theatre.
Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday, public holidays and every day during school holidays, at 3pm and 4pm.
