1. Identity and contact details of the data controller
The Website is operated by Jardin d’Acclimatation, a company headquartered at Bois de Boulogne - 75016 Paris, France, registered with the Registry of Trade and Companies of Paris under number 582 110 995, acting as data controller within the meaning of the legislation applicable to personal data (hereinafter, "Jardin d’Acclimatation").
2. Data processed, legal grounds and purposes of processing
The personal data concerning you that is collected and processed (hereinafter, your "Data") primarily comprise, depending on the Website services used, your choices and the settings of your terminal device (in particular as regards cookies and other trackers): your first name, surname, email address, postal code and phone number, your date of birth, your bank account details in the context of an online purchase, your purchase history, a photograph of you, your preferences and centers of interest, as well as your connection logs.
This Data is collected either on the basis of your consent, or in order to handle your orders (performance of a contract).
Your Data is collected to:
- allow us to answer any queries you send us using the “Contact Us” form;
- allow you to create a personal space (“Your Account”) and thus to buy our admission tickets, tickets, workshops, passes and subscriptions directly through the Website;
- send you, subject to your consent, information about our offers, news and events (newsletters, invitations and other publications);
- generate statistics on our Website traffic using the Google Analytics tool under the conditions set forth in Article 8 of this Policy on Personal Data & Cookies.
Data that is indispensable to Jardin d’Acclimatation in view of the above purposes is marked by an asterisk. If you do not complete the required fields, Jardin d’Acclimatation will not be able to respond to your requests or queries and/or provide you with the requested services. All other information is optional and enables Jardin d’Acclimatation to get to know you better and to improve the communications and the services we supply to you.
3. Data Recipients
Your Data is processed by Jardin d’Acclimatation.
It will not be transferred or otherwise made available to third parties, except in the case of (i) possible subcontractors/subprocessors of Jardin d’Acclimatation, and then only for technical and logistical reasons (hosting providers and maintenance providers of the Website, etc.) and (ii) the restructuring of Jardin d’Acclimatation, including any complete or partial business transfer, merger, merger through absorption, spin-off or, more generally, any reorganization.

You may also object to the use of your Data for customer profiling purposes; in such case you will no longer be able to benefit from personalized offers and services.

You also have the right at any time to stop receiving information from us about our offers, news and events by clicking on the “unsubscribe” hypertext link featured in each email we send you. 6. Retention period of your Data
Data relating to you, which is collected and processed in the context of the “Contact Us” section, will only be kept for the time required to process your request and will then be destroyed.
If you decide to open a customer account, your identification Data will be kept as long as your account remains active or until you close it. You may close your account at any time. Your request to close your account will be taken into account immediately or, in case an order has not yet been completed, once it has been completed. If your account remains inactive for more than three (3) years, Jardin d’Acclimatation will contact you to check whether you want to keep it or not. Otherwise, your account will be deactivated and your Data destroyed.
Data in connection with your orders will, as a matter of principle, not be kept by Jardin d’Acclimatation for longer than the applicable statute of limitation periods. It will, however, be possible to continue to view this Data from your customer account for so long as it remains active. Following the closing of your customer account, this Data (i) will be archived for accounting purposes and as evidence for as long as is permitted by the aforementioned limitation periods, or (ii) will be destroyed if such periods have expired.
Your bank details will be stored securely for the length of time required to validate your order and payment and will then be immediately deleted.
In the event of a payment incident, your Data will be stored for the period required to resolve the incident, and then for a period of between three (3) and five (5) years depending on the level of seriousness of the incident.
Data used to send you communications about our offers, news and events will be stored for a period of three (3) years starting from the date of collection or from your last contact with Jardin d’Acclimatation. After that period, we may contact you to check whether you want to continue receiving communications about our offers, news and events. If you decide to unsubscribe, your Data will be destroyed within a maximum period of sixty (60) days from the date of your unsubscribe request.
Finally, the collection logs obtained via cookies and other trackers used on our Website will, subject to your approval, be stored in accordance with applicable legislation for a term of no more than thirteen (13) months.
