Beneath the sweeping shade of the Jardin d’Acclimatation’s grand trees, a playful flute suddenly dances through the air. You lean in, listening. Amid the rustle of the summer breeze, a saxophone tiptoes in; soft and smooth at first, like velvet. In just a moment, sunlight begins to swing through the leaves. Gleaming in the golden rays, the trombones burst into laughter, soon joined by clarinets, bassoons, and trumpets. The entire park begins to sway and groove; jazz melodies curl into conversations, the music becomes one with the season, and airy notes drift through the days and weeks, infusing summer with rhythm and joy.

From top high schools and universities across the United States, England, nearby Picardy, and even Paris itself, 1,500 talented choristers and musicians take the stage. Their performances set the park abuzz with jazz, classical music, brass bands, and even gospel!
