Fêter Dia de los Muertos à Paris en 2024

Dia de los Muertos
From October 5 to November 11 2024

This All Saints' Day, celebrate Dia de los Muertos, the most colorful of Mexican holidays, at the Jardin d'Acclimatation! From October 5 onwards, the only amusement park in the Paris inner suburbs has much more in store for you than a red bean tortilla: skeletons, mariachis and Catrinas will be invading the aisles, which will resound to the rhythm of Hispanic music and dance!
“Arrieras Somos”, a 100% all-female mariachi made up of 8 female musicians, will sweep you off your feet with tunes straight from Latin America, and the 8 dancers of the Mi Folklore Danza group will dazzle you with their energetic choreography, in a joyous whirl of multicolored petticoats for the women, and sombreros and charros for their caballeros!
The “Festival of the Dead” will be more fascinating and enchanting than ever!
Two themed attractions will test the nerve of even the most daring! Prepare to shiver on the volcanic “Bewitched River”, and to shriek with fright in the “Mayan Labyrinth”, a maze of mirrors in which some still wander... Laughter guaranteed!
At All Saints' Day, the Jardin d'Acclimatation, with its 42 rides and attractions, 450 birds and animals and 18 hectares of promenades, becomes the place to be, el lugar para estar, for a frightfully fun festival that will delight or thrill the whole family! This spicy program is sure to surprise you!

Dive into the meanders of the Bewitched River
Farewell to the Enchanted River! Make way for the “Bewitched River”! For Dia de los Muertos, our legendary attraction has undergone a metamorphosis: aboard our ghostly boats, experience an eerie crossing through thick fog and a horde of grimacing skeletons - the famous calaveras. Worse than Columbus. Worse than Cortes. Do you dare to cross the ossuary filled with skulls crowned with cempasuchils, the orange marigolds that decorate the altars and tombs of the dead on Mexico's Day of the Dead? Just be careful that your cries of joy don't wake the mummies. They don't just sleep in Egypt. Under the Paseo de la Reforma, you'll find them: they never close their eyes completely, and could well appear at the bend in the River!
Open daily from October 5 to November 11
2 attraction tickets per person or access with the unlimited pass

Get lost in the dark corridors of the Maya Labyrinth
Are you ready for a surprisingly immersive experience? In our “Mayan Labyrinth”, the play of mirrors will try to lead you astray. Your challenge? Find the way out and escape this cursed place as quickly as possible... A difficult mission, especially as you're not alone: spectres are watching... Can you hear their cackles? The experience will be all the more gripping as your young explorers will not only be startled, but also laugh out loud! Welcome to the temple of illusion!
From October 5 to November 11 inclusive: open on Wednesdays, weekends, public holidays and every day during school vacations.

Twirling shows
The main aisle of the Garden will be filled with a festive air! The sound of trumpets and strings - vihuelas and guitarróns - and the rousing melodies of the mariachi, will plunge you into a joyous Mexico Ciudad atmosphere!
Proudly wearing the charro - the traditional outfit consisting of a gold-embroidered vest, wide-belted riding pants and the famous sombrero - Las Arrieras, this 100% female mariachi, will transport you across borders as they perform the greatest classics in their repertoire. Let yourself be carried away by the famous tunes of La Cucaracha, Las Mañanitas and Cielito Lindo !
🎻 Las Arrieras: November 9-10-11 at 2:00pm, 3:30pm and 5:00pm.

Gourmet itineraries and sweet treats
Le Jardin's restaurants are going Mexican! From fajitas - cornmeal patties filled with meat and vegetables - to roast chicken jambalayas - a delicious dish made with rice and spices - to nachos - triangular corn chips - and even chili sin carne (vegetarian special!): a wide range of colorful products are invited to the party!
Enjoy them at Café à Vapeur, Manège Gourmand, Relais de la Ferme and Chaumière Gourmande.
As for the aisles, they're taking on a South American-style foodcourt feel! Gourmets can head to the Kiosque à Churros to sample this tasty and comforting hot and sweet doughnut. In our dessert pop-up store, Sweet Romance, (re)discover classic Latin American pastries such as Pastel Tres Leches - a deliciously moist vanilla cake - or the famous Pan de Muerto - a brioche flavored with orange zest and orange blossom...
And don't forget the La Esquinita grocery stand, where you can buy exotic spices and spicy sauces to enhance your next dinner party. Latin cuisine aficionados beware!
Sweet Romance and La Esquinita: every weekend and every day during school vacations.
