Chuseok at Jardin d’Acclimatation!

In 2002, the Seoul City Hall presented a small piece of South Korean land to Paris City Hall. Covering nearly a hectare in the most Parisian of amusement parks, a wonderful landscaped garden was created to celebrate the friendship between the two capitals. Since then, you've never tired of strolling;far from the Yellow Sea, far from the East Sea; along the queen’s path, the king’s garden, among the ideograms and the zen alleyways of this little piece of the Far East on the old continent.

And it’s at the heart of Jardin d’Acclimatation that “the Land of Morning Calm” found its place. On Saturday, September 20 and Sunday, September 21, Jardin d’Acclimatation is hosting Chuseok, the Harvest Festival!

From the opening, let yourself be swept away by the energy of the Nongakdan troupe: pounding drums, vibrant colors, and an energy that radiates celebration from the heart. And the dancing continues… Martial arts demonstrations, K-pop singing and dance contests with infectious beats, before making way for the elegance of Hanbok, those traditional costumes whose colors and patterns whisper the legends and timeless beauty of Korea.

Throughout the weekend, both kids and adults are invited to dive into immersive workshops: shaping the delicate Songpyeon, exploring the refined folk painting Minhwa, or having fun with traditional games like Jegi and wrestling Ssireum.

The experience continues with over 15 stalls dedicated to crafts, K-beauty, webtoons, and cultural innovation. And because no journey is complete without a feast, eight delicious booths will let you taste the best of K-food: Mayak Kimbap, Tteokbokki, Sundae… enough to capture the bustling feel of a market like Seoul’s famous Gwangjang Market.

Between festivities, discoveries, and wonder, Chuseok takes over Jardin d’Acclimatation: a unique opportunity to savor Korean culture and escape, just for a weekend, without leaving the capital.
