From December 10, 2025 to March 8, 2026, the Jardin d’Acclimatation unveils “Japan in Lights”, the 3rd edition of its spectacular Lantern Festival!

This year, 2,000 luminous creations celebrate the spirit of Japan; a land where timeless traditions meet dazzling modernity. You’re invited on a journey in three chapters, with a few delightful detours along the way.

Begin your adventure in the Empire of Traditions, where majestic torii gates, enchanting temples, silk umbrellas, traditional costumes, and the noble silhouettes of samurai illuminate the path.

Next, dive into a Pop-Modern Odyssey; a burst of neon lights and color where Tokyo’s vibrant energy comes alive: kawaii creatures, arcade games, and manga await to enchant you.

Finally, find peace in the Garden of Dreams, where the serene beauty of Japanese nature takes center stage: blooming cherry blossoms, koi carp, hot-spring macaques, and of course, the iconic Mount Fuji, all bathed in magical light.

But the journey doesn’t end there! In the food court, enjoy the flavors and aromas of Japan alongside some French favorites..from mochi and ramen to hot chocolate and pretzels, all under a starlit sky. To end the evening, take a ride on la Grande Roue for a magical view of Paris glowing with festive lights.
